Gary's career in massage therapy began in 1999 and coincided with his arrival in Australia from the UK. Back home, Gary was a semi professional footballer, until he received a bad injury that kept him off the playing field for 2 years. Looking for another career path, Gary was drawn to Massage Therapy after completing a course in sports injury management. This ignited his passion and led Gary to pursue remedial/sports massage.

When first arriving in Australia, Gary was lucky enough to do some work with Sydney FC, whilst he built up his quickly growing business. Gary worked out of 3 clinics while also building a successful corporate massage business, which included clients such as Yahoo, Facebook and Sydney Morning Herald. For 12 years, Gary was also the official massage therapist for City2surf, arranging for some 20 therapists to administer relief for weary legs.

Along with 23 years of experience, Gary also brings excellent communication, organisation and a welcoming smile to the treatment room. Remedial, deep tissue, sports injury, trigger release, scraping and dry needling are all the forms of treatment Gary enjoys using.

 

Outside of work, Gary has a wife and two girls, who keep him busy. He enjoys exercise, mainly focussing on the gym, strength and conditioning and football.
