PSYCHOLOGIST
​Kate believes that individuals are a unique mix of their experiences, emotions, and challenges, and therefore every treatment should be tailored to fit the individual. Sessions with Kate are collaborative, and client centred to empower clients toward meeting their individual needs and goals.
Whilst using an evidence-based approach, Kate provides a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings whilst identifying the obstacles that stand in the way of them living their life to its fullest. Kate aims to offer a warm, and non-judgmental space to allow her clients to actively engage in their sessions with her.
Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, parenting issues, perinatal mental health, and working with LBGTQIA+ and neurodivergent identifying clients.
Kate’s main therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based interventions and her qualifications include a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies, Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), and a Master of Professional Psychology.
Outside of work Kate enjoys hiking, yoga, being at the beach and spending time with her family.
