DR ADAM NICHOLSON
PRINCIPAL OSTEOPATH
Having immersed himself in sports and navigating through numerous injuries, Adam cultivated a profound interest in anatomy and biomechanics, recognising their integral role in healing and recovery. This curiosity led him to pursue Osteopathy, culminating in the completion of his Masters in Osteopathy in 2008.
Benefiting from collaborations with Sydney's esteemed Osteopaths, Adam acquired an in-depth understanding of classical osteopathy and its traditions. Acknowledging the uniqueness of each body, he emphasises individualised, patient-specific treatments.
Adam is dedicated to addressing a diverse range of conditions, with a primary focus on children, pregnancy-related issues, and both acute and chronic conditions. Employing a spectrum of direct and softer techniques, he tailors his approach to cater to his diverse patient base.
In addition to his role as InTouch Director and Principal Osteopath, Adam serves as a presenter and tutor for osteopathic university students, a lecturer for community and allied health groups, and collaborates with local sports and dance organisations. Beyond his professional endeavours, Adam actively participates as a representative Oz-Tag player in the local area. His interests extend to the NRL, and he cherishes moments spent with his wife, Alicia and their young children, Harper and Zave.
Adam is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and takes pride in his membership with Osteopathy Australia. Additionally, he actively contributes to the Education and Editorial committee, aiding Osteopaths across Australia in their professional development, education, and promotional content.
